Hibachi Night - 12/27/11

Went to a Japanese Hibachi restaurant with my parents the other night. It was my first time at a Hibachi restaurant, and I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere and the food.

Happy Christmas!

Every year on Christmas Eve, all of my family on my mom's side gets together to eat and open presents. We usually do it at my grandparents' house, but since they are in Vietnam at the moment, we had it at my house instead! It was so fun (and kinda stressful) organizing everything for the family "party", but it was all worthwhile. We all had an amazing Christmas, and I got a few things I wanted as well! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. And here are some of the many pictures from that day:

I know, I know...

I haven't updated this thing in so long! Mostly because of school and laziness, but I will really start trying to update it more when I'm not busy. I am currently on Winter Break for about 2 weeks. Christmas is coming, and I have already bought myself some presents... Here are just some of my favorite recent purchases.

Steve Madden Colosuls, Urban Decay's Naked Palette and Cream-to-Powder Foundation, Forever 21 earrings/ring, & VOGUE.

7.29.11

On Friday all of my family went to see my brother Vince at his Martial Arts test for his black belt! It was really exciting, and he kicked butt. We'll know next Saturday if he gets his black belt or not, but I am positive he passed. We're all super proud of him, especially me, for getting this far and training hard for 3 years.
I love you, bro!

Weekend Concert Extravaganza

I love candid pictures. Beautiful people.

This weekend has been pretty much amazing, saw some amazing bands and spent it with amazing friends. I got to see Forever the Sickest Kids, a band that I've liked for a long time and never got a chance to see live. Their acoustic set was lovely, and they all seemed like really sweet guys even though we didn't get to chat with them. They played a mix of both new and old songs, I have to admit I was more into their Underdog Alma Mater stuff though. After, we all went out to eat at Chipotle, favorite place ever.

Saturday, we ventured all the way out to Six Flags Over Georgia which took approximately 1 hour to get to. Tried to get in line for the new Daredevil coaster, but ended up getting to the amphitheater earlier and buying merch. I ended up with CDs and an Everything's Fine tank. The Downtown Fiction came on first. I remembered going to Six Flags to see them about a year ago at Bamboozle Roadshow with the same great people, good times! I really missed seeing them live. Cameron Leahy is just brilliant with crowds. Next was The Summer Set, the band we were most excited to see. We've wanted to see them since forever and never got the chance to. Of course, they were amazing; I had such a blast just jamming, singing along, and dancing to their truly feel-good, upbeat music. Hearing the new songs from Everything's Fine made me so proud of how far they have come since the In Color EP. As soon as their set ended, we left because we did like We the Kings, but it was too hot and I was basically drenched with sweat from the sun and jumping up and down. Although we left shortly, I enjoyed myself. A little upset that Six Flags didn't let them come out to sign stuff (we also decided we missed the Masquerade venue after today), but it was a weekend I won't forget!
